Undeterred by the previous failed attempt, today I solved my windscreen problem, so please allow me to regale you!

Like all of my adwrenchures (trademark application pending), this one began by migrating the shop downstairs:

Then I had to spread it all around a bit, which gives you a bit of an idea about how much stuff it actually is:

Then I brought the bike closer to the light:

The first order of business was installing the windscreen, which actually required removing the bracket first, which was loosely bolted to the screen itself:

Then I wrapped most of it in painter’s tape:

Pro-tip: wrap the back first, so the ends of the pieces for the front wrap around cleanly. Or don’t—it might not really change anything beyond looking better.

Then I also wrapped the jig saw shoe, to make damn sure I don’t scratch anything:
